This benchmark is found in a bridge abutment South East of Scottsville, NY. The disk is silver in color, and in good shape. The disk can be found in the concrete that forms the East end of the bridge over the Genesee River. It is located about 2.5 FT North of the metal railing for the bridge, 35.0 FT North of the Cetnerline to Rte 251, 12 FT West of a Metal Post, and 6.0 FT West of the setting for destroyed benchmark 772 MCGS 1969.
The disk is marked "Corps of Engineers US Army, GRV 10, BUFF DIST, 1999". It is in great shape, with relatively few scratches on it.
