At the so-aclled 'Lotharpfad' in the Schwarzwald outside of Oppenau, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists a fantastic look-out possibility with a bench and an Orientation Table.
The length of the hike is 4 kilometers. It's nearly even - there are no significant hills to be climbed up.
You will have a fantastic senic view over the 'Schwarzwald' and onto the 'Vosges' in France. The orientation table explains the mountains you can see at this location.
It can be accessed without any fee or restrictions.
