"In 1894 our location was known as Doyle’s Pub. On Dec. 21st of that year a murder, still unsolved to this day, occurred here."

"Come check out Dasher's Corner Pub centrally located in Homer, NY. It's the perfect place to meet friends for lunch, grab a drink, or get a group of people together to catch up and have a nice dinner. We have outdoor seating as well, right on scenic Main Street."

"Our décor pays homage to Homer, New York, incorporating the original bar and backbar from 1905 with other local antiques, artwork and photographs of and from the area. Even our tables are handmade from a huge black cherry tree that stood alongside the old Homer Academy (which burned down in 1959) and more recently the Homer Elementary School.
Original light fixtures hang above the bar and our ca. 1865 handcrank cocktail mixer that was unearthed in our basement’s dirt floor. It needed welding and bronzing but it stands proud once again on our bar waiting to shake up our famous Whiskey Sours."

General comments:
Nice relaxing place to get food and drink after a day of waymarking and caching. "We source as many local products as possible, keeping everything fresh, tasty and healthy. We buy from local vendors as national food distributors are not welcome here."
