This copy has a unique trunk lying. This tree, now common in Deux-Sèvres, has
was imported into France in 1601 by Robin, the King's gardener, as seeds. He sprouted up
Dauphine in Paris, then in 1632 was transplanted to the Garden of Plants in Paris, where he still lives. It is
highly invasive and grows very fast; his numerous releases make an enemy of the gardener.

Cet exemplaire présente un tronc couché atypique. Cet arbre, aujourd'hui commun en Deux-Sèvres, a
été importé en France en 1601, par Robin, jardinier du Roi, sous forme de graines. Il a germé place
Dauphine à Paris, puis a été transplanté en 1632 au Jardin des Plantes parisien, où il vit encore. Il est
très envahissant et pousse très vite ; ses nombreux rejets en font un ennemi du jardinier.
