Mount Philo's summit, at 968' above sea level, provides vast panoramas in several directions including this westerly view over the Champlain Valley. At the overlook this table diagrams many peaks and features in view, even including the names of islands visible in Lake Champlain. The entire mountain is a Vermont State Park, and the summit is accessible by hiking or driving up a paved auto road. This table is an easy 3 minute walk from the summit parking lot.
