Bay City Bank was the first bank in Bay City. It was a private bank that opened in 1898. This building was erected in 1903. It is a lovely red brick with white stone trim and a corner covered entry.

Bay City bank merged with First State Bank during the depression and moved into First State's building, vacating this one. It was later used by First Federal Savings and Loan, and then Caney Valley Loan and Thrift.
It is currently the home of Glenn Computers.
