Historic Old Columbia Cemetery is located across from United Methodist Church on East Jackson Street in West Columbia. DO NOT DRIVE into this cemetery. Park in the church parking on the street. I made this mistake.

There are many historic Texans intered in Old Columbia Cemetery. There are many elaborate headstones.
It is the simplicity of two handmade markers, belonging to two members of the Meador Family, that can easily go unnoticed.
