The Kapiolani Park Bandstand is a beautiful Victorian-style structure where performances of the Royal Hawaiian Band take place on a weekly basis. Located very close to the Waikiki Shell, and with a beautiful view of Diamond Head Crater, the Kapiolani Bandstand is a great place to spend an afternoon enjoying the music from the Royal Hawaiian Band.
Built in the 1890s, the Kapiolani Park Bandstand is where the nations only city-sponsored band performs concerts on Sundays. The Royal Hawaiian Band participates in many parades throughout the year, and employs 40 full time musicians; it is one of the last links to Hawaii's Monarchy.
