School bell from North Marysburgh SS #6, now located in front of the old Victoria School on the grounds of the Ameliasburgh Pioneer Village.
The bell has been dedicated to all the old one-room schools in Prince Edward County, and those that attended them.
The accompanying marker reads, in part:
"The bell from SS #6 North Marysburgh, stands as a
symbol of all the one-room schoolhouses in this County
and their role in educating the youth since the beginning
of early settlement.
The bell is also a symbol of QEMA's (Quinte Educational Museum And Archives) mission and vision to tell the story of education
in Ontario."
