The archway is over Burleson which is the main street that takes people to and from North Beach. It is between Timon and Surfside boulevards.

Archway with the name North Beach was completed in 2013. North base of the archway holds a plaque about the Texas Section of ASCE. The archway is near the “BEACH HOTEL site,” where seven Texas civil engineers stayed in July 1913 after the Texas Good Roads Congress to plan the fall meeting in Dallas to found the ASCE Texas Section!
