The“Penny” Ethel Selma Pearl Strotheid dedicated bench is near the entrance to the cemetery. It is a massive concrete bench with the inscription.

The Oyama Community Cemetery is located withing the Central Okanagan Regional District. Gently sloping towards Kalamalka Lake, this is a well maintained cemetery and about 2 acres in size.

There are approximately 370 interments with the earliest in 1950. The cemetery is still active with the latest known burial in 2013.
