A Blue Star Memorial Marker, garden and relocated Spanish-American War soldier statue by Charles C. Mose were dedicated on June 14,2016 at the entrance to the Museum of Missouri Military History east of Jefferson City.

A new Blue Star Memorial Marker and garden were dedicated on June 14,2016 at the entrance to the Museum of Missouri Military History at the Ike Skelton Training Center of the Missouri National Guard Headquarters. At that time a Spanish American War statue of a soldier of that era was relocated here. The sculptor of the soldier was Missourian Charles C. Mose. Mose also did a sculpture of a Missouri military hero, WWi General John J. Pershing. That statue in now located at Pershing's Boyhood Home State Park in Laclede, Missouri.
