I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey and State Survey benchmark from 1934 in good condition. The datasheet info is mostly obsolete. This road is now Lone Pine Rd, there is no longer any transmission-power lines through here and the witness post is gone. This benchmark is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 4378'. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.

DESCRIBED BY OREGON GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 10.2 MI NW FROM SPRAGUE RIVER. ABOUT 10.2 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG THE SPRAGUE RIVER ROAD FROM THE POST OFFICE AT SPRAGUE RIVER, KLAMATH COUNTY, AT ROAD MILEAGE 21.6, ABOUT 0.5 MILE NORTHWEST OF A T-ROAD, ABOUT 0.2 MILE NORTHWEST OF A LOGGING-RAILROAD CROSSING, 34 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 56 FEET NORTHWEST OF A POWER-TRANSMISSION LINE POLE, AND 2 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WHITE WOODEN WITNESS POST. A STATE SURVEY STANDARD DISK, STAMPED 4378 S 277 1934 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 2 INCHES ABOVE GROUND.
