This concrete marker is a bit smaller than a modern headstone, and there are rough guidelines that the stone's creator used in an attempt to keep things reasonably straight. There is no information about the baby, just a simple inscription that says "Homer Capes Baby". Note the backwards S.
Findagrave has no listings for a Homer Cape besides one, another infant, who is buried southeast of here, so for now, this one is a mystery of sorts.
