EN: The station of Hornussen is located on a hill south above the village. The station was opened in 1875 and is located on the Bözberg railway line between Brugg and Frick.

In 1993 line was shut down for the regional persons transport, since the stations were usually relatively far aaway from the villages for topographical reasons and not much used. On the other hand, the line is heavily occupied by freight and long distance passenger traffic. The towns on the line have since been served by bus lines that go through the village centers. The Hornussen station is still used for freight. The station building is an apartment today.

DE: Der Bahnhof von Hornussen befindet sich an einem Hügel südlich über dem Dorf. Der Bahnhof wurde 1875 eröffnet und liegt an der Bözbergstrecke zwischen Brugg und Frick.

1993 wurde die Linie für den Personenregionalverkehr stillgelegt, da die Bahnhöfe aus topographischen Gründen meist relativ weit von den Dörfern entfernt waren und nicht sehr stark benutzt wurden. Andererseits wird die Streck vom Fracht- und Personenfernverkehr stark beansprucht. Die Gemeinden an der Linie werden seither durch Buslinien bedient, die die Dorfzentren anfahren. Der Bahnhof Hornussen wird noch für Güterverkehr benutzt. Das alte Stationsgebäude ist heute eine Wohnung.
