Recovered this CADT vertical control mark from 1980 in good condition. The NGS datasheet is adequate for station recovery. My more accurate coordinates should place you very close to this mark.

DESCRIBED BY CALTRANS 1982 9.5 MILES (15.3 KM) NORTH ALONG HIGHWAY 97 FROM THE JUNCTION OF HIGHWAYS 97 AND 265 IN WEED, AT A SUPERSPAN ARCH CULVERT AT WHITNEY CREEK, IN THE TOP OF THE NORTHEAST END OF THE NORTHWEST CONCRETE END WALL, 40 FEET (12.2 M) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, AND ABOUT 4 FEET (1.2 M) LOWER THAN THE HIGHWAY.
