CADT '2-97-12D 1976' Survey Disk - Siskiyou County, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this California Department of Transportation survey mark from 1976 in poor condition. It is a 2.5" circular bronze disk monumented on top of a 10" square concrete monument flush with the ground and on top of a rise, about 50 ft SW of the centerline of Hwy 97. The disk was found loose in the crumbling concrete monument. There is a metal witness post 8 inches SE of monument. This disk was found after seeing it listed on a topography map as 'BM 4161'. This disk is not listed in the NGS database. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.
