The chancel has a plain north arch opening to the organ chamber and a double sedilia with piscina beyond, recessed in the east end of the south wall, formed of trefoil-cusped arches supported on brown marble columns and with head label stops at the sides. By architect Richard Makilwaine Phipson to complimet the font at the west end of the church.
