Large, one-legged inverted teardrop/sprherical tank located in the center of Rehoboth Beach, just N of Rehoboth Avenue & NW of the Post Office.

This tank is located W of the intersection of 2nd Street & Baltimore Avenue. It replaces a 6-legged tank that was at the same location - the old tank is the one listed on Geocaching.com & in the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) database as a benchmark (intersection station) with a Point ID (PID) was HU1373.
In a 2001 "Not Found" recovery submitted to the NGS, it was stated that the original (6-legged)tank was torn down in 1999 & a new 350,000 gallon tank was erected in the same location.
