Former downtown location of the Canada Post Corporation in Perth. The limestone building house Canada Post on the ground floor and Canada Customs on the second floor.
Building upkeep costs and the increasingly congested downtown transportation, combined with slowly dwindling volume spelled the end of this stately building as Canada Post outlet in the 19980's.
It is now owned by an an insurance and financial planning firm, who have maintained much of the building's postal facade.
The building is located at 81 Gore Street East, directly across from the Perth Town Hall.
