Forest Park Hotel built in 1923 was designed by St. Louis architect Preston J. Bradshaw and expanded in 1926 on a design by St. Louis architect George D. Barnett, Jr. The hotel remained open until the 1980's then remained vacant for eleven years. The hotel has recently been renovated into apartments and the entry and club room restored to its earlier elegance.
