This is one of the many signs found along the walking trails in the l'Orée-des-Bois park. The well-maintained wooden area is located by the Mille-Iles river at 4185 Seguin street in Fabreville.
This wooden area has an exceptional forest ecosystem for both the following criteria, a unique forest and a forest refuge.
A unique forest where there are two infrequent forest stands in the region, the sugar maple and silver maple cayer.
A forest refuge for endangered species, vulnerable or likely to be so designated that are found there.
