A monocular (which has however seen better days) at a viewpoint along the TF-82 between Santiago del Teide and El Tanque, which is an important link between north and south of Tenerife.
From this viewpoint you have a spectacular view across the Valle de Arriba to the western flank of the volcano Teide, its 3,718 metre (12,198 ft) summit is the highest point in Spain.
