In Dedham, within Brookdale Cemetery, is the Veterans Hill section, with a marble structure that includes a plaque about those who served in various wars.

The cemetery is located off a residential neighborhood. From High Street, turn onto Brookdale Avenue, then turn right at the curve. Veterans Hill is one of the highest points of the cemetery toward the back. There is a flagpole on top.

The monument is on the eastern side, off an access road.

The monument is a stone structure that has a few steps, and pillars on each side. The pillar on the right has a plaque on the right side, with the following text:

"[Eagle figure]
In gratitude for their loyalty and devotion this lot is dedicated by the citizens of Dedham as a resting place for those who served their country in the armed forces in time of war."

There are rings of graves around the flagpole. They are the standard white, rounded markers that you see for other veterans. I saw people who served in various wars, including the Vietnam War, Korean War, and World War II.
