Die Gemeinde Ahrbrück ist erst nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg entstanden. Es gab nie eine eigenständige Kirchengemeinde, Ahrbrück gehörte zur Pfarrei St. Petrus in Kesseling.
Die alten Dorfkirchen waren zu klein, um allen Gläubigen Platz für eine Messe zu geben. Daher wurde schon sehr früh darüber nachgedacht, eine größere Kirche für alle Ahrbrücker Ortsteile und die umliegenden Gemeinden zu bauen. Sie ist dem Apostel Andreas geweiht.

The municipality Ahrbrück arose after the Second World War. There has never been an independent parish, Ahrbrück belonged to the parish of St. Peter in Kesseling.
The old village churches were too small to give all believers place for a worship. Therefore, it was thought very early about a larger church building for all Ahrbrücker districts and the surrounding communities. It is dedicated to the Apostle Andreas.
