The church is located in a village originally known as Maryknoll, and is about a mile west of the original town of Old Monroe. The town of Old Monroe is located on the north bank of the Cuivre River.

I can not find information on the church building, like when, who, why, etc it was built. And like a knucklehead, I missed getting the corner stone which would have given at least some of that info.
The clock works, it dinged while I was there.
