The sea here is rough, water usually cold - at least for local standards - and weather is not always good, not even in the Summer. But these beaches are still popular, perhaps because they are not so far from Lisbon.
São Lourenço is a small beach, close to Ribamar. Possible to walk there from the village but most people will drive to the parking lot. On the cliffs north of the beach there is an old little fort, once upon the time used by the border police, and now part of social benefits (vacations) of the G.N.R., a corp of police where border police was integrated some years ago.
There are supporting structures like a good asphalt road, a nice parking lot, a restaurant and bar and restroom. The coordinates were taken from the pedestrian access starting in the parking lot.
