There's a sister city monument, showing the names and emblems of the four siter cities at the entrance of Neu-Ulm, Bayern, Germany.

Bois Colombes
Three years after concluding the agreement of treaty between France and the German Federal Republic the cities arrangement in 1966 with Bois-Colombes in the French department of Hauts-de-Seine and Neu-Ulm began. Guided by the administrations of the two cities, the contacts have been intensified over the clubs, schools and social connections so that from this partnership many solid friendships have emerged.

Meiningen
The Mayor of Neu-Ulm saught 1987 a partnership with a city "behind the wall" and found it with Meiningen in the former "DDR". Under difficult political circumstances a friendship agreement was formed between Meiningen in Thuringia and Neu-Ulm in 1988. At that time Neu-Ulm was the third city in Bavaria with a German-German partnership.

Trissino
Unlike the partnership links to Bois-Colombes and Meiningen, resulted the compound with the northern Italian city of Trissino, Vicenza in 1990 from a nearly 30-year friendship. Private contacts of citizens of Neu-Ulm to citizens of Trissino led over the years to a growing connectionmore of more than the private sector.
The cities Trissino and Neu-Ulm have therefore decided to carry out an official partnership. In 2010 celebrated Neu-Ulm Mayor Gerold Noerenberg and his Italian colleague Claudio Rancan the 20 th anniversary of the partnership at a ceremony in Neu-Ulm and Pfuhl.

New Ulm
1854 the American town New Ulm in Minnesota was founded by 22 German. The fact that the emigrants have never forgotten their German roots, shows among other things the partnership between New Ulm and Ulm in 1954
. Previously there was intensive contact between America and the two Danube cities. After the war, New Ulm supported their Bavarian sister city. So the Americans sent food, clothes and toys for children to Neu-Ulm.
1930 the American mayor first time visited Neu-Ulm. Since then connects New Ulm and Neu-Ulm a friendship.
