This is a 12 kilometre return walk along a mainly well worn trail. You descend from the track head walking through tree cover eventually reaching a small creek which is surrounded by rainforest species. Then you walk up a slight hill to the first stop which gives vistas of sandstone cliffs, beehive formations & sparse vegetation before heading off to the lookout. It is actually at a lower point from whence you came but has views over a larger creek & more beehive formations.
The return journey is more taxing as the majority of the walk is uphill. You will need proper footwear, protective clothing, plenty of water, snacks & your camera.
