Located in the Plaza of Liberty at the Veterans War Memorial. Life size bronze statue standing on a block of cement with informational plaques was added to the Veterans War Memorial in 2016.

Location in the Plaza of Liberty is significant as George Washington is the "Father of our Country". He led the Continental Army against the King of England to gain freedom for the thirteen colonies that would become the United States of America.

The statue is standing with its right hand resting on the hilt of the sword on his right hip. He is wearing a tricorn hat and cloak which is open showing a military uniform underneath.
