The clock is mounted on the tower of the former Church of the Holy Trinity that is located on the north east side of Bromham Road in the grounds of the Bedford Sixth Form College. The building is now used as kitchens and dining room for the college.

The clock face is circular with two sets of bricks used to form the outer circle. The inner part of the face appears to be stone with the hour and minute marks raised up. The minute marks are dots and the hour marks are Roman numerals with, unusually for a clock face, "IV" being used for the four position. The hands are a simple design and appear to be made from copper.
