Given the presence of nearby burials with the name "Caro," it is likely that they are family members and the creators of the headstone simply got it wrong. The headstone is two-sided, with a cherub on one side and a dove on the other, with the following inscription:

Mary E.
Carro,

Born
May 11, 1874,

Died
Oct'r 8, 1882.

--

Joseph A.
Carro,

Born
June 26, 1879

Died
July 13, 1882.
