The current Tahlequah Public Library is located just south of the 1905 Carnegie Library. It is a one-story building with a pebbled-slab veneer. The library is part of the Eastern Oklahoma District Library System. It offers a full program of activities, including children's games and reading clubs, and offers free computer classes and literacy tutoring.
The Carnegie Library attached on the north is used for meetings and special events.
