Kathy Delaine and Alfred Tharold Keith - Anderson, MO - Dedicated Benches on Waymarking.com

Peace Valley Cemetery has several unusual combination headstone and dedicated benches, but this one is the usual separate dedicated bench. At the time of this waymark posting it honors the memory of Alfred Tharold "Bud" Keith who passed away at the young age of 53. Wife Kathy Delaine Leas Keith is still alive, but her name and birth date are already inscribed on the bench.

Inscription is on the back of the seat only, and it says KEITH in large letters centered at the top. To the left is the likeness of a lion and KATHY DELAINE (LEAS) DEC. 20, 1960. In the center are two interlocking rings with: MARRIED APR. 18, 1981. On the right is the likeness of an elk and ALFRED THAROLD "BUDDY" FEB. 7, 1961 / AUG. 12, 2014. This is a sturdy bench, and it looks comfortably shaped, though I did not try it.
