In Bath, near the main entrance to the Maine Maritime Museum, is this nautical flag pole.

The Maine Maritime Museum is located along Washington Street, south of Bath Iron Works and south of Su.S. Route 1. The pole is visible from the parking lot - it is not necessary to pay admission to see it (though the museum is well worth visiting).

The pole cross portion is about halfway up the main pole. There is a third arm toward the museum building from the same point.

The U.S. flag is at the top, and the museum's flag is off the third arm. It was a still, wet day, so I didn't see the other large flag unfurl, but I think it is the state of Maine. The other arm had a string of smaller nautical flags - couldn't decode (if it was supposed to be a word).
