On May 24th, 1938 two young boys; Victor Desrochers and Douglas Crispin, drowned.

Douglas Roy Crispin was born September 18, 1928 in Saskatchewan. Joseph Victor Gabriel Desrochers was born May 24, 1928 in Nakusp.

Victor drowned on his 10th birthday along with his friend Douglas. Both names are on one headstone, one would assume they are buried together.

These two boys along with about 50 additional graves of remains placed in the Arrow Park Cemetery section of Glenbank Cemetery in the 1960s in preparation of the building of Arrow Lakes Reservoir.

Glenbank Cemetery was originally established for the relocation of the Arrow Park Cemetery remains during the flooding of the Arrow Lakes in the 1960s. The section with these individual's graves is designated with a plaque. Within this section are grave markers dating as early as the late 1800s.

The cemetery is surrounded by indigenous trees and is about 2 acres.

Arrow Park Cemetery

This section contains the graves of former residents of Arrow Park who were buried in the cemetery there.

In 1967 the Arrow Park Cemetery was closed and the graves moved to this site in preparation for the Arrow Lakes Reservoir.

There are approximately 350 interments and is still active.
