According to one myth, the goddess in her early thirties begged from her father Zeus gifts for your destiny: eternal virginity, bow and arrows, which would be similar to the weapons of her brother's retinue sea nymphs and a retinue of river fish that would care for her clothing and excitement if he does not hunt; He wanted saffron, red-lined hunting clothing.

Artemis is the goddess of the moon and moonlight.

Artemis was so beautiful that he fell in love every god. One day, the goddess bathed and arrived there Akteon. As punishment, the goddess transformed him into a stag and poisoned him his own dogs.
