A very nice well kept picnic site, with a two plaques one commemorating the Apeslands, the other Pastor Sven Njaa.

As the plaque reads:

In Memory and Appreciation of The Apeslands
Sam, 1908-1991, Magda (Sundbo)1908-1984
Both were born in Norway, the Apeslands lived on this quarter section for 55 years.

Their son Stanley donated this picnic site to the Scandia Club in 1983.

Sam was widely known for his poetry and his unselfish devotion and service to his community, province and country.

Plaque donated by the Scandia Club, The Weldcon community and Weldon Elks Lodge No. 542.
