Engine 1 is the sister truck to Engine 2 at Station 2 on Concord Road. Both trucks were bidded out to E-One. They have another E-One sister truck in Shelby, NC that was built on the same bid for money savings to both departments.

It is a 2000 gpm pumper with a Waterous pump. One modification that I was told about was extending crew cab 6 inches on all 3 of the sister trucks. The operator on duty spoke highly of the extra space this six inch mod made for team.
