Windmill - Rymice, Czech Republic - Windmills on Waymarking.com

The wooden windmill on the northern edge of the village, a part of a small open-air museum called Folk Building Complex (a part of Museum of the Kromeríž Region).

The open-air museum consist a complex of village buildings from eastern Haná - objects of folk architecture from the 18th and 19th century with thatched roofs, homesteads, crofter houses, a smithy, a saddle-maker's workshop, etc.

The mill was built in 1795 and used to be in nearby Borenovice. Because of impending destruction, it was taken apart and moved to the just-established open-air museum in 1977. Its interior contains well-preserved and still functioning milling machinery.
