This fallout shelter is located on Route 31 on the East end of the city of Newark, N.Y.. It is located in the old Newark Academy which sits empty, and has for quite a few years. The sign does not state the capacity of the shelter unfortunately. There have been 3 or 4 new schools built in the last 20 or so years, so this one is no longer used for a school. Due to its size, it has been on the market for sale for a very long time, but needs so many repairs, that it is almost impossible to sell.
