This model is 1/48th scale and was built by Jere Robinson of San Diego.
A placard at the museum informs us that the Zeppelin L-31 sortied with 10 other zeppelins on October 1, 1916 over London. An English fighter plane brought it down in flames - marking the virtual end of Germany's martial use of zeppelins.
