MNDT 1410 M 1979, MN, is a Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDT) vertical control disk mounted in the abutment wall at the southeast corner of the County Highway 9 bridge over the Buffalo River, about 4.0 miles east of the town of Glyndon, in Clay County, MN. The disk is mounted in the abutment wall at the southeast corner of the bridge, Bridge Number 14005. It is about 800 feet north of the crossroad intersection of US Highway 10 and State Highway 9, and 26.0 feet east of the centerline of County Highway 9. The disk was monumented by the Minnesota Department of Transportation in 1979, and documented for inclusion in the NGS database in 2001. It is stamped 1410 M 1979. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DG7145 (

To reach from Exit 6 off Interstate Highway 94 about 5.0 miles southeast of Moorhead, MN, go north on State Highway 336/County Highway 11 for about 2.1 miles to the crossroad intersection with US Highway 10. Turn right and go east on US Highway 10 for about 1.0 miles to the bridge over the South Branch of the Buffalo River. Continue east on US Highway 10 for about 6.1 miles to the crossroad intersection of US Highway 10 and County Highway 9. Turn left and go north for about 800 feet to the bridge over the Buffalo River and the station on the right. Handheld coordinates are N46-52.772 W096-30.316.
