Pametní deska je venována na vecnou pamet obetí fašistické zvule v letech 1939 - 1945. Za doby okupace obcasné v Zubrí zažívali kruté fašistické represálie. V okolí Zubrí se tak zacali vyvíjet odbojové skupiny. Fašisté se krute mstili jak na zajatých partyzánech, tak i na obyvatelstvu. Bylo zatceno 59 obcanu Zubrí, 23 z nich bylo popraveno nebo umuceno, byla vypálena Holišova usedlost v horní cásti obce.
The memorial plaque is dedicated to the eternal memory of the victims of fascist despotism in the years 1939 - 1945. For the period of occupation in Zubrí experienced occasional cruel fascist reprisals. In the vicinity of aurochs and began to develop resistance group. Fascists cruelly wreaking havoc on both the captive guerrillas, and on the population. 59 people were arrested Zubrí, 23 of them were executed or tortured to death, was burned Holišová homestead in the upper village.
