More than two million visitors pass through Iguazu National Park in Argentina each year. This is a spectacular rain forest environment, and one of the main attractions is Iguazu Falls, which is a series of about 270 individual falls within a 1.7 mile area along Iguazu River.

The biggest attraction of the park is Devil's Throat, a spectacular and majestic waterfall accessed via the Rain-forest Train which deposits the visitor at the entrance to a 1,100 meter series of walkway/gangways and piers that hopscotch across the river islands to the 80 foot deep chasm where the wall of river water plunges with great velocity and fury. Once at Devil's Throat, visitors watch for the thousands of birds, called swifts, which fly behind the falls to nest, a spectacular site. Note the metal pier is designed to withstand the rainy season, when the pier becomes dislocated from its concrete pillars by the flooding river, and reset into place as weather permits.
