I met an elderly lady outside of this building. She attended this school as a child. She remembers that she had to walk an extra 1/2 block to get to the Girls Entrance. She was very envious of her brothers, because they could get inside just a little quicker on rainy days. She told me that she didn't mind the extra walk in the winter, because she was dressed very warm. She didn't remember when the school closed.
The Lincoln School has now been converted into business offices and is now called the Lincoln Square Building. It is located at the corner of Highway 26 and Lincoln Boulevard. Parking is available on the South side of the building.
