Bowditch Cemetery is within Waldo County and has approximately 500 interments.
The first know burial was in 1790 with several in 2015.
Interestingly there are four primary families that occupy over a third of the burials in this cemetery: Griffin - 47, Park - 42, Pendleton - 74 and Blanchard - 31.
The cemetery is well maintained and has some very interesting old headstones. There are many veterans buried here including some who served during the American Revolutionary War.
