This mark is cut into some brickwork that forms part of the Roman wall that runs across the northern part of Castle Park. The mark is on the north face of the wall next to an entrance. The wall were erected around AD64.

The mark is in good condition. Some re-pointing has taken place across the arrow with mortar filling the centre and right legs.
