The Drysdale War Memorial is a granite obelisk and is engraved with the names of soldiers from the Drysdale area who enlisted in the First World War, never to return, above which is the rising sun insignia.The names of servicemen who died in the Second World War were also added to the side of the monument.
The First World War inscription above the names reads:-
"In Memory of Drysdale of Drysdale Soldiers who fell in the Great European War 1914-1919"
