Ancien moulin à foulon reconstruit et transformé en huilerie par Jean-Louis Giraudeau en 1854, puis en scierie à partir de 1892, et enfin en chamoiserie pour les Rousseau, avant d'être racheté par l'entreprise Boinot vers 1910 et converti en ganterie avec la construction de nouveaux ateliers en 1925.
En 1985, la ville rachète le terrain et construit une médiathèque ; le moulin est rénové et intégré dans le complexe culturel.
Former fulling mill rebuilt and turned into oil mill by Jean-Louis Giraudeau in 1854 and then mill from 1892 and finally Chamoiserie for Rousseau, before being bought by the company Boinot 1910 and converted into a glove with the construction of new workshops in 1925.
In 1985, the city bought the land and built a media library; the mill is renovated and integrated into the cultural complex.
